ok thank you i fixed it by sticking it in rice tho

if you have a dehumidifier set it in front of that for a few hours or even a day. this will suck the water right out of it unlike a hair dryer which would push it in further. the rice might work but its a really tiny device so this is mainly for cell phones, but try both

@terminator363 ummmm you do know that apple doesn’t make hardrives (among other parts) for ipods or Imacs, so they buy them from other companies….duh!

i wouldnt dare do that, id be scared incase i couldnt put it back together. nice to see whats inside though.
… for some reason it had loads of dust in it
i did this with my pc when it broke, so there was no need to put it together again
