tranmate isnt free but there is an app called translator which is very good and is FREE

A lot of apps.. But there is a limit. You can only have 9 pages of apps (you know the little buttons on the bottom when in home menu).

8gb can hold a ton of apps. plus if you run out of room u just erase the ones you dont use cuz im pretty sure your not gonna use 100 different apps
